My Octy VRS is now punching out 242bhp & 420NM of torque thanks to Jabba.

Has anyone experienced Dump valve failure & how obvious will it be when it occurs ?.

The dump valve you refer to is actually an electrically operated diverter valve. What tends to happen to them is that if you are running too higher boost the diaphram ruptures. The only obvious symptom would be a loss in performance.

VRStu - Is there a better price then and where do I get one from? Don't think mine has not split yet, but as I'm remapped it my only be a matter of time so a spare would be handy.

If you want peace of mind (and empty your wallet in the process!), the Forge aftermarket version is due for iminent release and will be more suited to higher boost ie. remapped cars.
