Filling up my trusty Fabia VRs with Shell diesel in Leicester, i noticed the fuel was very "thin". Also it appeared to have a blue tinge.

What colour is it supposed to be?

Bit worried it's going to come to halt with a broken sensor or something.

Thanks, i hope your right, i love my VRs and i care for it as much as i care for my pet budgerigar, don't want all that good work to put to waste by bad fuel.

It will appear bluish + In warmer conditions its viscosity will be thinner, quite thick when cold!!

I feel better about the colour now! Only thing is though it was cold yesterday when i brought it and it was pouring out of the pump all over the floor! Hope it's nothing to worry about.

We have just switched to 'summer' diesel - without the antifreeze - which will be thinner. As for the colour, it could be anything - BP Ultimate is fluorescent green!
