Camber Kits. Can you get them?

Featured Replies

Simple question really. Can you get front camber kits for a fabia?

Cheers

judging by the lack of answers John i would say not

i could undo the alloy consoles and move them out as much as possible , but you would obviously have to keep an eye on the camber to get it equal both sides

also another possibility could be a different wishbone or ball joint which was slightly longer, maybe another VAG vehicle has a similar set-up as the Fabia but with a slightly longer wishbone length , check the specs for Ibiza Cupra or Polo GTI

Just be carefull pushing out the bottom as that can have a negative effect on the castor.

Cheers guys.

Currently waiting for details from BBR and allard.

Without modifying the body where the struts mount I dont see how you can really adjust the front camber.

Spoke with Morego. They modify the wishbones to create increased negative camber (Power Grip suspension). It will take a full days work and its a little on the pricey side for as a surcharge in included.

Spoke with Allard. They dont offer anything.

Theirs a couple of upper suspension mount that you can buy from the states to help increase negative camber.

Is the strut top mount like the Octy or any other Golf ie mk 2 or 3. If so you can get top mounts.

I have these on my Octy, which are for a Golf iv

You can get them for the Golf 2 and 3 also

There are quite a few parts in the vag range which are interchangable. Its just a matter of doing comparisons.

You can get ball joint extensions made, but to do it right, you also need a drive shaft spacer. You don't want a cv joint popping off.

If the above top mounts won't fit, then ring Allard a ring and ask for Dave Turner's phone number. He does all their race car suspension set ups and will be able to sort you out with a ball joint and drive shaft spacer.
