Think it may have been on start up:rolleyes: especially given tjhe ignition lights are on:rofl:

Really like the motor tho, my second car was a mk2 astra which i loved to death;) and have allways had a soft spot for Vauxhalls:eek:

Looks lovely Dave - especially liking the seats

Usual photo location too :D

Steve

Looks spot on Dave  Winner motor for sure ;)

I remember speaking to you about your next car. Well, you made a very good choice ;)! Much better than the LCR in my opinion.

Lovely car!!!

My brother is in love with these!

He wants the Thurlby triple 8 version though. His mate has one. took him for a drive in it the other night, he came home with a look on his face like he'd just seen a ghost :D

There is a chap who has a Thurlby 888 Stealth. Was driving to a friends house after picking it up to show off and a frikin deer ran out in front of him, car is a right mess.

Oh deer. What is the Thurlby 888 Stealth? Isn't that the diesel 888 with 190 horsies?

If so, seen a video of the two side by side, and there was nothing in it. From a standing start, or even a rolling sprint, the 888 was matched to the VXR.

Nice car! Looks way better in black then red!

that car park looks familiar.... where is it??

OOOOOh! that car looks good in black. I like that quite a lot. And I usually feckin hate Vauxhalls. Nice car Dude!

Nice choice. May favourite of the current hot hatches.

Chris

let us know how long your front tyres last ;) If I could afford one, I'd certainly have a go :)

Thanks

Photos were taken on Sainsbury's carpark in St Annes! Ive allowed myself 2 weeks of playing then I'll have to start driving it normally to save the tyres and not cripple me in fuel costs...

Yeah... the dials read max, then go to zero again when the ignition's turned on. I love little things like that :P

Just need to get my reg plate on it (awaiting documents) then

Cheers

Thanks

Fords do that when the battery is going flat  :P

Congrats Dave :) When you taking me out in it? :D:thumbup:

It won't happen mate. I thought the same when I got my 'tavia but power corrupts and somehow your financial situation becomes irrelevant. :D
