Hi folks, here is my problem.

It only happens after accelerating in 5th gear upon exiting the Tyne Tunnel. I get to about 2500 revs and the turbo cuts out, the engine management light comes on and the message EMISSIONS WORKSHOP pops up on the maxi-dot.

The turbo still works in low gears but not top gear.

If I switch the engine off and then back on, the turbo works in all gears but the management light stays on, for a couple of days and then goes off as well, and the car runs normally.

I'm guessing something to do with the fumes in the tunnel is affecting a sensor or probe in the car, has anybody experienced a similar problem?

Yep, everything is fine whilst in the tunnel, but after exiting and picking up speed again after the toll booth as soon as I go through the gears, the turbo will SOMETIMES cut out as stated above.

Doesn't happen everytime.
