I have a problem for which I subscribed here. (noob alert)

The CD-Player from a friends Fabia was stolen and a gap in the central console remained. The problem consists of the fact that by accident, an iPod nano (mine unfortunately), which stationed in that gap, dropped through a hole in the back of this gap. My guess is that the ipod is somewhere in the central console, but I have no ideea where (how low did it get) or how to get there.

If anyone could help with a walkthrough on how to dismantle the console & retrieve the object, I would greatly apreciate it.

The sides of the centre console are held in place by Velcro. You could try pulling them away from the carpet and seeing if it's in there. After that it gets a bit more serious.

If the lower storage tray (Which would have been under the radio) is still present, give it a really good tug from behind and it will come out and allow you to see a bit more.

Thank you for the help. It slipped down through the back of the gap right under the right side of the central console, and I managed to retrieve it.

That's good. You wouldn't have wanted to remove the centre console.
