Mine (on a 2 year old 2.0 Elegance) cost

Brake fluid should be changed at 2 years as it takes on water and will perform less well after 2 years.

Also the water trapped in it can cause corrosion inside the braking system which is infinitely more expensive than changing the fluid every 2 years.

Strange how prices vary by dealer , and even then over the phone. Been into my (as now local dealer ) ---oil change quite low, £164 next service up and 20k service £184 , think brake fluid change was about 56.---poss = 50sh for labour and the rest for gold plated OEM fluid. Leastways that way you don't have to worry about bleed niples siezing. Thinking on - how much is two supplies of that fluid and a set of eezi bleed niples - and a big bunch of flowers to missus to wash overalls??
