Son has just had an offer of Fabia SE number 157 for

Like Stu says that is list price. I would consider a 'good' deal to have

Be lucky to get a discount on an LE at this stage.

Are you considering it?

Kevin want's to change his car ....he was thinking about an Octy 2 ....elegance (keeps looking at the VRS) with the sports pack and 17" wheels. but if the price was right he may buy one

Someone should bite his hand off for his present Furbie vrs ....loads of extras (cruise, xennons , sensors, sunroof etc.) on an 05 plate with less than 10,000 on the clock.

My Superb will be going next year so I will be after an octy2 elegance or L&K estate ....not going over to the latest Superb and all the trouble with the filter

Why not keep the one he's got? I understand if he wants a bigger car, but the SE would be a downgrade in terms of spec surely?

Have you seen the current skoda offer on the octy 2 vRS? clicky...

I was quite tempted until I got a quote for the insurance... :(

My insurance increase was minimal compared to my Fabia.

My Fabia vRS was £550 for this year...

The cheapest quote I got for an Octy 2 vRS was £1000... :(

I was quoted £850 for a Mondeo ST TDCi though... :D

Seems a little high for the vRS - Did you try anyone else?? Just checked your age and at 26 you shouldn't be in the real expensive bracket.

I did several searches via moneysupermarket and autotrader...

The problem is although I'm 26 I've only been driving 18 months...

My current insurer who have consistently been the cheapest for the Furby wont insure me on the Octy 2 vRS...

TBH I'm more than happy with the Furby and should really move house before changing cars anyway and hopefully overtime the insurance is only going to become cheaper :D
