Clutch upgrade recommendations?

Featured Replies

Since the demise of my gearbox and clutch. I now have the opportunity to upgrade my clutch to a proper performance one.

Recommendations are greatly needed as I don't know the possibilities.

Jabba have recommended the G60 kit that they supply. Any others?

Bernard, I've heard good things of the G60 kit too, although I can't remember if any flywheel mods were required or not. You could PM Suart J IIRC he's running / used to run a G60 kit.

Hang on, there was the "bible" of 1.8T tuning posts that goes back a few years. I'll try and dig it out...

edit: found it (thanks to Col ;) )

I have heard a lot of very good things regarding the G60 clutch kit too, thats why i've just got one!!

I had mine along with the lightened and balanced flywheel from Jabba for a very good price, give Nick a call, he'll be able to explain more.

However, im not sure if you can just fit this clutch with the standard flywheel, but for how much the flywheel costs you might as well get them both!
