has anyone had this problem it sounds like its comin from the doors they creak a good bit whilst driving?:(its loud enogh to annoy so i presume someone has experienced it, interested to hear from you......

this is a chronic problem with all Octi's over here. Seems the rear door hinges lose their alignment or some such rubbish.

I had the same and totally cured it by spraying the door seal rubbers with WD-40. I believe you can get a specific rubber lubricant containing Teflon and I was intending to buy some if the problem returned. 18 months later it hasn't.

Trying cleaning the hinges and lock mechanisms, then putting a bit of oil on them.

had it with my old mk1, the above solution also worked for me.
