Any one on her got one of these or know much about them?

i'm tempted to get one but dont know if they are actually as simple as they sound to det up and use, if if they actually do what they are supposed to do.

My friend has just installed one (one off payment of £85) he is getting 424 channels

I think I'll be getting on of these very soon.

Your friend is also breaking the law, because although the starview box is not illegal to sell it is illegal to connect it to a virgin/ntl/telewest line.

Further discussion on this topic is not allowed due to the questionable nature of these boxes.
