Featured Replies

Sorry if I have put this in the wrong place but I ordered a new VRS last week and it has a Ipod jack plug in the car whats the best one to get the I pod I mean

get the ipod nano its like holding a remote perfect then get a double jack lead, plug it in press cd aux will come on. you an get an ipod car charger as well so it handy as anything

IPOD socket? other MP3 players are available

Loads of music = Hard drive player

A few hundreds tracks = tiny solid state player.

Go into an electrical store and look at the range of players available and play about with them a bit.

thanks for that but I haven't got a clue about Ipobs or mp3

The important thing to realise is that the mp3 AUX socket only takes the audio from the music player plugged into it - so if you want to change the music / songs etc. you will still need to use the interface on the music player, which may not be very convenient / sensible whilst driving...

Think about how you listen to music in the car, and buy accordingly. If you like to have a lot of choice, and like to have reasonable quality of sound, then I would suggest to get the one with the biggest capacity that you can afford.

When I bought my iPod, I thought that 15gb would be more than enough. Now I'm beginning to think that 3 or 4 times that capacity would be just about right. That would give me the possibility not only to add more music to my iPod, but also to record (well, probably re-record) my music at a higher sampling rate and improve the quality of the play back.

All I have to do is find the budget to buy a new one...

lovely.

Thanx all will consider one when the car arrives on the drive.
