i im from cornwall,i have purchased today a 53 fabia vrs red , pick it up next sat, have not even tryed it yet as its jammed right at the back in the showroom,and can still refuse on sat,i have dealt with the dealer before on other makes so no probs there,i found this site while searching for the vrs,a bit about my car history, over the past 28 years

porshe 924,nissian silva turbo,bmw 325,320,ford cosworth,and then we had some things to tow so it was vauxhall frontera,then nissian terrano,but at last the wife has sold the horse trailer,hip hip hooray,so we decided to get something a bit quicker than them 4x4s and also most of the children have gone so do not need the size,a tuning mate of mine i was talking to about getting a golf/focus type car ,said about these vrs and wheni saw it on sat it was the easiest sell that dealer had for the day,very smart and all the reviews i have read with the aid of the wonderfull internet looks like the car to put some life back into driving,reading your forum here you all seem very devoted to the skoda and im sure i will be,i ride on the road every day a 800cc bombardier quad bike, which i do about 13000mile a year on,and use for run what you brung events,i know off the line the vrs will be left behind against it because,the suburu,skyline,cosworth,in fact anything except a propper drag car,takes 200yds to catch me,but i top out at 80mph so some do pass buy,any way thats my intro looking forward sat i will post pic of quad

well it took longer than i thought to complete the deal, but it was worth the wait,quickest thing i have driven for a few years with them 4x4s i had, very pleased,just got to get them to sort cd out as speakers on left not working,[ i have checked the balance ],have a nice drive the weekend i think:thumbup:

I think it's great you do 13k a year on a quad bike

I'd never reallly thought of them for that...not that I would, but others I know might.
