V Power Diesel

Featured Replies

Has anyone used Shell V Power Diesel, looking at their website, there are only a few places that sell it.

At the end of May will be going to South east Belgium near the Luxembourg border and will definitely give it a try, as the fuel there is a lot cheaper as well.

I have also noticed that Total also do a premium fuel as well, anyone with experience of either?

funny enough i've started using it by accident. i went to a shell garage in Ipswich as they are cheap and went to my regular pump, got halfway through filling up when i noticed the price, 97.6p/litre!!!!..... it was then i noticed it was posh diesel.

having said that, i find the car definately has more go about it, is a lot smoother, and as a bonus, my average mpg on my commute to work now comes in at about 60mpg (40 miles of main road/dual carrigeway/country lanes each way), and now it get about 680 miles out of a tank of fuel, as opposed to about 630 on ordinary diesel.

i was so impressed, that i was in the area this week, and filled up again with it, and i'm getting similar results (currently on about 450 miles/just under half a tank left). after doing a few very quick sums, i've worked out the extra mileage i get on the tankfull more than covers the extra cost of filling up a tank . i run mine quite low, so end up putting 53-55 litres in when i fill up, the posh stuff is 6p a litre dearer, so its about

So it sounds as good as the petrol V-Power then.

Will have to get my mum to start filling her Leon FR up with it
