Explorer Problem - Help Please

Featured Replies

I'm having a problem with, sometimes (well quite a lot over the last few days), it seems to bomb out when opening a new page. When I say a new page, I used Open New Window to check New Posts on here.

Internet Explorer Cannot Open the Internet Site, it gives the site address and says Operation Aborted. Any ideas of things I could check.

I did put Zone Alarms on it the other day (I think thats when its happening since), I have now removed it but its still the same.

Sometimes if you get it to reload it will then others you could keep hitting reload and the same thing still occurs.

Please help as its very frustrating

It's even after happening when I tried to post this, I hit refresh and it shows the page.

FWIW I'm getting "Cannot display page" or "Cannot find Server" re Briskoda recently. I usually open in new window.

ColinD mentioned that we could be arriving on one server, then being tranferred to the new one so I suspect my ISP is timing me out rather than it being an IE browser problem (if that makes sense) as it's not a problem on other sites. Briskoda is very slow at the moment, I'm finding.

Dunno if that helps.

I've noticed that too, but I'd put it down to Slowphos Sweep hogging the bus!

does the same thing happen in Firefox or any other browser?

Does it affect other web sites as well as this one?
