variable, service first service at 38k 11/11/06 what do you think on a 05 plate just turned 2 years old and 42k on clock now next service says 48k or 12 months is this ok?

I have read the above three times now and still can't make sense of it.

38k is way to long for the first service though, even on an non PD diesel. You dont say what car it is.

Still struggling but if it was last serviced at 38k, says next service is 48k or 12 months then it has been set to fixed.
