Yesterday I saw My First...................

Featured Replies

Race Blue Fadia vRS LTD and...........Sorry...... but it looks nothing special. Looked sort of ordinary in Blue. Skoda already do a Fabia in a shade of blue almost the same so I think thats why it looked ordinary. Skoda could have thought of a different way of showing the LDT number instead of stamping it on the seats, an engraved plaque would have been nicer, not quite as cheap looking..........Sorry folks , Just my opinion.................:(

I have to concur :)

I know what you mean about the other blue. There's a guy 2 doors down from us that has a "normal" Fabia (SDi, i think) in that colour - every time I glimpse him driving past our front window I have to double check he's not nicking my car.

But his doesn't sparkle in the sunshine like mine :D

I would also have liked a plaque.

I was thinking though, if it had the WRC arches, it'd look good in Race Blue :)

Candy White would have been a more striking colour to offer.

agree - white might have been more striking*, but then I would have been stopped from buying one from SWMBO.

* the dealer has a white Octy II vRS estate which just looks:eek:

I saw a nice shiny one the other day and didn't think it was bad as I knew it was a vRS immediatly. Having said that, if it was mucky and viewed from the wrong angle it could easily have been mistaken for a 1.2 with pimp blacked out windows.

Then again, the name of the game with these things is subtlety. If you wanted a lary car then you wouldn't buy a vRS. You'd get something that shouts a little louder and costs a little more. :D

same here nothing special at all. I keep going on but no options allowed! I don't think so dude!

Well its all about what you are used to. The red VRS I am trading in is a total standard no options fitted car and I love it. So going from that to a car with leather, cruise etc etc is a good step up for me. I also love the red which I still think is the best colour for this car but the blue is also very smart but will need some getting used to. All in all its a very impressive package for the money.

If you have a all singing all dancing fabia then yes you might think its not worth it so in that case stick with what you have got.

I also think that having the leather imbossed with the numbers is subtle and smart plus its more expencive to do than a small sticky back plastic plaque glued to the dash.

Each to there own

I'm undecided. I love race blue on the Octy II but for some reason it doesn't seem to do it for me on the furby. I have only seen one from a distance though so I have not made my mind up either way yet. It does seem strange that they didn't spec' it up though. I think xenon's should have been standard at least. I do like the seats, though :D

I'm not on about the spec of the car, as I'm an Ex Fabia vRs owner. I just think that the Race Blue is not the right colour for the LTD edition, I personally don't think it looks good in blue and as for the Number being "Stamped" into the leather, it looks cheap, why not have it stitched in the leather or a nice metal plaque would have been nice. Just my own opinion.....:)
