forge dv on octy vrs

Featured Replies

hi folks this has probably been covered before, but i was wondering if any one has had experience or know anyone who has run a forge 004 dual piston atmo dv,on the seat forum rob don is running 1 on his leon cupra same engine as octy auq with no probs, but his car is heavily modified,i know forge now do the splitter, which would be the wise choice,i have been offered the forge at a bargain price, dont wanna buy it if it brings on the management light,1 guy on the audi forum a guy has been running 1 on his a4 1.8t for 40,000mls with no probs,i guess its just ur luck.

hi m8 if your car is running the std map you should be ok with an atmospheric dv how ever if you plan to get a remap thats when the engine warning light will come on .like u say the guy with the a4 has no probs.

Think you will find Rob Don is no longer running the 004 valve ;-)

The Split R is the only way to run a blow off valve on the 1.8T with out any issues at all
