I wont bore you all with the details about back and from the skoda garage.

My 225bhp vrs ex-police has died.

Basically does anyone know where i can get a re-con cylinder head from or prices on both a re-con and a new one from.

As the skoda garage qouted me

They never gave me a engine fault code, but they showed me the oil lifter pipe that was totally blocked, which stopped any oil getting up to the top half of the engine.

Or do you mean my own engine`s specific code/number ?

do you mean the oil pick up pipe that goes into the sump??

yes i mean the 3 letter code at the beginning of the engine number(should be in the cars log book!)

Letters off the engine number are AUQ

ahh. that's the 180bhp one with variable valve timing....

how soon do you need one?? because i know where one of those is kicking around

How is the turbo?

If the top end has gone due to oil starvation I can gurantee that is also damaged.
