Featured Replies

hello members

i drive a octavia 1.9 tdi and the clocks have stoped working i have another set from the scrap yard all the numbers on the back are the same and was told these will be fine but when i installed the clocks my car started then cut out and when i put my old clocks back the car ticked over as normal can i get my old clocks fixed or is there a quick fix hope im doing this right as its my first time thanks carl:)

You need the immobiliser codes for both dash pods, as the new one needs to be recoded with the codes of the old one. To overwrite the codes with yours you need the code for the new dash pod to. Without either you will not get far.

You need a laptop and a product called VAGtacho (ebay) and then you can install them no probs and sync the immobiliser and ECU without having to get any logon codes from the dealer.
