Roof Bars for Octy vRS estate?

Featured Replies

Anybody got any good suggestions as to what to go for, looking for the best quality for the best price. Any good places to get them from?

I assume you have the longitudinal rails already?

For cross bars I have used Thule for years - highly recommended and I believe they make a lot of OEM stuff for many car manufacturers. Thule UK - Discover our world - Thule Web

If you get lucky there is also a chance you will be able to use them on other future cars - I had the same bars on my Octy estate that I used previously on my Alfa Sportwagon. I guess there are some standard sizes for the rails.

Thule stuff is available at Halfords, or try an online store such as The Roof Box Company: sales and hire of Thule roof boxes and other brands of roof boxes, roof bars and bike carriers

I am also looking into this at the moment. My choice is either Thule or Mont Blanc.

My Dad has thule, but they are £30 more and I wanted to know if it was worth the extra???

Are genuine OEM Skoda one's prohibitively expensive?

No doubt one of the main manufacturers produces them any way?
