Featured Replies

Just had my car valeted and it looks fantastic. This is currently up for sale but not had much interest...cant see why because it looks great especially with a few subtle mods.

Cupra Alloys

Cupra Air Intake

Green Panel Filter

Eiback Springs

Octy 2 VRs badges

Celtic Tuning Remap

Hope you like it.

Looks nice. I'd imagine it's the remap and different wheels which are putting 'normal' buyers off. As for an enthusiast wanting it with the bits you've added, well, that's a case of waiting for the right person to come along. Many sellers on here will tell you that.

You're appealing to a much smaller %, so statisticaly it'll take longer to sell :) - where else you got it advertised?

Ive got it advertised on here and Cupranet..Wanted to see if i could get shut to an enthusiast who would appreciate the mods and pay that little bit extra. Im also unsure on how to advertise on Autotrader , meaning the wording i use , i could prob get away saying its standrad apart from the remap , cause you cant really tell its been modded, even the wheels have the skoda badges etc

Best bet would be to decide whether you want to hold out and sell it on an enthusiast forum (here/SCN/E38/Pistonheads etc) or go more mainstream. If you're going with 'Trader you'd be much better to return it to standard and sell on the optional bits. You'll make more back doing it that way.

A std 'trader buyer will spot a mile off that it doesn't have the same wheels as all the others they've been looking at!

yeah i might do but its all hassle, changing things , i think i would only change the wheels and the intake...it coast me 100 quid to have my springs put on so will cost the same to remove them...Its hard to sell a car that looks so good but my house comes first now !

Know what you mean - it's all down to luck and timing to be honest. When I sold mine, it went from interest in an eBay auction. And it sold with my S3 wheels and Eibachs to a driving instructor  - I dread to think what those wheels are like now

All the best with it
