The new 2007/2008 Map disk is out for the MFD2

Nuts. Just got the reduced 06/07 itis disc. Might wait until later in the year. Have a 10% discount voucher with the 06/07 disc as well.

I have put the new disc in this evening and expected it to do an update - like when I originally had the 2004 disc replaced with the 06/07 - but it didn't.

I will leave more information tomorrow when I have driven around a bit to see what (if any local roads) are updated.

So, any interesting updates that you have noticed? Might just update every couple of years...unless there is a significant amount of additional roads.

Checking the box the CD arrived in apart from most of Ireland now being covered and a couple of thousand more POI I wouldn't bother.

4 roundabouts still dont exists on my 15 miles trip to the office, so i have used the teleatlas online update tool to notify the mapping people.

Thanks for the offer - already have the 06/07 itis. Will wait and see how accurate that disc is, and give it a proper run before deciding whether I need the 07/08.

There's loads of mistakes on the 06/07 map disk in my area that weren't there on the 2005 disc. They're mainly with the incorrect placement of POIs (like the Skoda Dealer, and various filling stations). It's really annoying!

I don't think the on-line map correction facility shows POIs, so I suppose the easiest way to check would be if someone brings the new disc to GTi International. *plug* *plug*
