Where is the Air inlet for the air conditioning ? - Octavia

Featured Replies

I've bought an air con deodorizer and airfreshener to remove my smelly sock odour that i get all the time.

It says on the instructions:

"Turn off the A/C, find the inlet for the air conditioning. This is normally found in the foot well on the passenger front side (but can be in other area), if in doubt consult a car mechanic."

Well I'm in doubt, anyone know where this is on my octy.

Cheers

Matt

The passenger side foot well will be fine for your air con treatment. :)

Just spray into the passenger footwell with recirc on.

Just spray into the passenger footwell with recirc on.

This one has a 2ft hose, were do i stick it. Was going to stick it in all the vents for a few seconds, but unsure.

were does the recurculation suck the air in ?????????????

The other one i used was a lock in and leave one that worked for 2 weeks.

It says spray in the inlet, wait for 15 mins then switch on A/C.

I just stuck it in every vent and gave it a good blast.

We will see if it worked over the next few weeks.

The recirc sucks the air in from the passenger footwell hence me saying stick it in there.

Trouble is putting it in the vents means it wont get at the evaporator.

Perhaps if the last one worked for just 2 weeks you should get the system cleaned out and re-gassed?
