new rs4's

Featured Replies

Hi guys, i was after pics of the skoda octavia with new type rs4's. Can anyone help me with my search.:)

are these the ones you mean?

found the pics on a french octavia forum, cant remember the link sorry but i downloaded the pictures as i liked the look of the car.

I think they would look much better on a black or darker colour octavia IMO.

Still..........better than a set of 15's :D

They're the old style

I must say they look like the ones from the previous Passat

Do you mean these ones?

Yep, those are the ones. Have seen some Golf Mk5s with them on, posted up on UK-MKivs I think. But not any Octys, yet.

A very nice wheel, but likely to be rare and pricey, if genuine. And perhaps of dubious quality if a replica....

Good idea though

Remember seeing a replica version. Very good replica also.

I just always have an issue with replicas. They might appear good quality, but how can you be confident they won't just bend at the sight of the first pothole?

I had those thoughts before I bought these exact wheels in 18 for my mk1. Number of people have had replicas for years without problems, so decided to take the plunge. Fingers crossed no probs so far.

We have em quite a lot here in Finland on various VAG cars.

Only bad thing about them is the hefty weight.

Im considering to change these to Ultraleggera 17".

19" (found from finnish VAG site)

That's really nice, shame about the chrome edging round the rear light cluster.

What like the original OEM ones fitted to the original RS4s? The ones where the owners were takinhg Audi to court for the wheels deforming?

Well, 17" have no problems on potholes, but dont know about 19".

You can fit OEM RS4 wheels, they are lighter and almost perfect fit.

These were the OEM items i think.

Very nice.

The problem about bigger wheel's for me... is it looks cack if the brakes behind it become lost.

thanks for the help guys, being cheeky here but any picks of rs6's aswell?

Those new RS4 wheels look the business on the Octy. Where can you get 'em from?.

They were OEM. So, Audi.

Rochford Tyres used to do them 500 something with tyres, but haven't seen them listed on their site anymore. (might be legal issues)

Was tempted with a set of these myself...but decided to stick original Skoda VRs ones.

Awesome GTi

I don't know, how do you spoil a VRs, because those wheels look good?

  • 4 weeks later...

Are you sure the wheels on the blue one are OEM RS4's? I'm wondering since the OEM wheelse are 9x19 ET 29....

Looks great though... :)

:iagree: actually. Not so much with the hatch, but the combi in the earlier pics. Makes it look to me like an old-shape Volvo V40 on Crater alloys. Dunno why; just does... :thumbdwn:
