I've changed to an aero one on the back of mine now, and do find it clears better. Could be that the blade's newer, but does seem to get less 'shudder' as it sweeps.

On the complete removal issue, it's a 'Euro' look thing, done mainly to Golfs and A3s. You remove the motor completely, and caps are available to smooth off the area.

Anyway, I'm thinking of changing the rear wiper of my vRS, just to change the look a little? Saw on VAG-Parts the Aero rear wiper from Golf and Polo etc. Has anyone done this swap, and what do you think? Any photos about.

I had the wiper off on my Corsa and it looked a lot better, a bit of RainX solved the visibility issue.

I will be leaving it on on the VRS though.
