Hello,

Your car looks cool to me. Wheels are dark but give it a track day dont mess with me look. I de-badged my silver RS fab and put Turbo on the back. It keeps people guessing tho.

it's all about individuality, I think putting a "turbo" on the back is ok too (it does have a turbo) as long as it's tasteful.

With all this badge and sticker talk I've decided to get a great big 'On A Mission' sticker for my back window. I think it'll look awesome.

LMAO you know it! Or maybe you could have 2FAST4U, be a bit more classy like.

Yeah, and a great big 'Fabia' sticker in joined up writing down the sides of the car. This will be big news come show season!

.................nah......Cymru ;)

Not seen anything too much to complain about in any of the pictures posted. Fair enough, the RS badging isn't genuine Skoda, but putting aside the issue of the 'v' for the UK market, it's not really badging it as something that it's not, which seems to be the issue.

For instance, this morning I drove past a Ford Focus Ghia Zetec S (apparently) - it's obvious that not all of those are true. And a few days ago, I saw a VW Golf SE GTI S-Line. Hmm. On the Skoda stakes, I once saw someone who had added a TDI badge to the back of their Fabia vRS, which was fair enough - one of the posters on this thread had done the same. But then he'd also stuck on a Type-R badge, which to me is daft.

IMO, make your car individual by all means, but don't go round thinking that sticking a Quattro badge on will make your car faster / people respect you / ladies want to throw themselves at you. I must admit, I did that to a clunky old mountain bike I had when I was about 14, but soon realised that no matter how many Scott stickers I put all over it, it was still a bike bought from a catalogue... Then again, I don't see why it should make you a ch4v, either - it's your car, do what you want...

BUT... As a footnote, think about where your badges from ebay actually originated from. Before I go any further and get a massive flaming, I'm sure most are sourced legitimately. But even so, every time I see a Corsa "Turbo" I have visions of the poor fella who owns the car the badge was originally nicked off - and my heart goes out to him, sat in his garage with the touch-up pen, repairing the scratches on his boot all because some little so-and-so saw an opportunity to make a fiver...

bright orange micra with a whale tale ...

Moby **** ? :D

I believe it also has injection ... some ideas here, perhaps? :D

Valid points but my badge was brand new in a bag with a porsche/audi part number on it..
