I got myself a genuine Porsche RS badge off the good ol' bay.

I thought as the proper name of the car is RS and not vRS everywhere but here it would work well, but i've seen the chrome copies on several sheds and don't want my car looking anything like that. The badge was originally black which would have worked well but I decided to go for the colour-coded look...

I think I like it, what d'y'all think? or :thumbdwn:

Yep a picture might help...:o

If its the badge I'm thinking of then a :thumbdwn: from me too. Seem to find them stuck to back of crappy escorts and novas.

Sorry :D

sorry doesn't work for me either.... anyone in the know will know it's of a porsche.

It's tastefull in the way you have adapted and fitted it to the car. I think it looks good and if you like it then thats fine. It doesn't stand out and it's not in your face, so keeping in line with what the car stands for.

it doesn't look *that* bad:) keep it on i you like it... looks better red. if it was chrome yeah it would look tacky

Nope. Quite obviously from a porsche... Therefore a little sad putting it on any other car IMO

not for me sorry

Ewwww gross.

i think they are all jealous you dont have any numbers on your numberplate!!

i like the rs badge!!

Think if it was black or maybe even green it may look good.

Looks naff.

Like all the cars around with Reanult 'Sport' badges, or stupid 16v or VXR.

If its not ment for the car then IMO dont put it on.

Looks great Iestyn.

I don't mind it to be honest, I think it would be a bit tacky if if were any other colour. I can see why some might think it's a bit... though

It's original. Brings out the best in the car, along with the moany old gits :D

Looks, OK... Its different though, if its your style and you like it, stick with it. have you tried make it black on photoshop? or.. find a smaller v from somewhere (similar font) and make that black ;)

Yeah ;)

It's all about what you want, I think it looks good and its a quality job. I wouldn't do it to mine but it comes down to personal preference.

Nice one!

I think that would be better in the original black.

My first and continuing impression is that it is too swoopy and circular for a boxy looking car like the Fabia. The colour is fine though.

Black

Do the grill surround too like that red jabba monster

Its a nice job, probably no badge would be better though

Porsche?

You can get these in Halfords!

I like it.

Thats given me the idea of spraying a 'tdi' badge I have to match the car colour (Black Magic)

How did you prepare it for spraying?

Wet n dry?

Oh...BTW ;)

1. You need to colour code the door handles and ...

2. Ditch those black wheels!!

Looks nice, i reckon you should keep it.

I like it. Not too obvious and a nice addition to the car.
