DR15TC correct spark plugs for a 94 Favorit GLXIe (136b)?

Featured Replies

I have been suggested by a retailer to use Brisk DR15TC but after searching the internet am a little concerned that my car model and the model of spark plugs do not feature on the same web page. Thought I would check with someone who knows as I know fitting the wrong ones (and of course gapping them incorrectly) can cause damage.

Thanks in advance :)

dont know about the ones you've mentioned but

the NGK part number is BCPR6ES, and the gap should be 0.8mm. they will come pre-gapped so you shouldn't need to adjust them

From searching I find that the equivalent of the DR15TC is the BCPR6E*T*

The last letter in the spark plug code usually refers to the conductor material.

I think: C = Copper, P = Platinum, T = Tungsten(?)

There's a great deal of debate about what's supposed to be best, but unless you're tuned up to the hilt for race / rally I'd stick with the cheapest option which is usually anything with a 'C' suffix.

I have since discovered that the Brisk DR15TC spark plugs are multi-electrode/multi-ground ones and the idea is that this extends the operational life as each ground is used alternately, when one wears down through use the shortest distance one will always be used, meaning though it's life it will eventually have used all 3 electodes at some point as each one alternately wears down.
