Anyone know how to do this and whether you need to remove the bottom bit to remove the top bit i.e. the bit housing the high level brake light??

I need to remove this to fit some little plastic hooks for the sun blind for the rear window.

Any help would be appreciated!

Usually, trying not to be rude, you just give it a damn good tug. This works with my boot trim anyway.
