Your car looks spot on as it is, so I'd go for a remap.

As to which one, I'm sure that someone will be along to advise (don't know a thing about remaps for the TFSI) - Revo seems to be a popular one, although I think there have been some issues around claimed bhp outputs from their maps and real independent RR outputs

thats more or less what i decided ,to go for a remap but seems loads to choose from.

cant decide if i like the bright looking alloys so was thinking of getting a darker look to them

think im at a funny age lol might be the second childhood starting

Definately a remap and I have no hesitation in recomending REVO for the TFSI. Have a quick search and you should find some more information.

Thread moved to a more appropraite forum.

As a 'Wolf in Sheep's clothing' type of guy, it would have to be the re-map for me. Stick to the standard look yet blow them away with the performance. :D

Not so sure it's an age thing. Yes I am getting on, 39 soon to be 40 but I have always preferred the subtle look.

Got some prices back for remaps just got to decide which one to go with

Be interested to know what prices you get for remaps and with what company. Also with regard to wheels, I was thinking of maybe changing mine to a dark colour, black or dark grey. Reckon that would look subtle but cool. Would suit the Race Blue colour too.

the prices ive had back for remaps so far are

derv doctor do a serial port re-map for

Don't get too carried away with the claims of power and torque, the quoted figures should be taken with a pinch of salt imho. That is not to say that you won't be dissapointed with whatever you decide upon but from my experience with the REVO software is that it's a first class generic remap (which incidently is switchable via the OBD port if you get the optional Select Switch).

I'll think you'll find that REVO is in fact

tsl have said they will do the revo for

  • 1 month later...

Hmmm, I think they might be getting mistaken with the earlier 1.8T prices. 2.0Ltfsi price is

  • 6 months later...

Had a remap done by Revo 2 years ago on my 1.9TDi L&K but had to have it taken off due to a judder that apeared in 4th and 5th gear. It turned out that they had increased the BHP to a point where the fluid clutch got warped!

The companies that quote the highest BHP figures are not necessary the best, or the best for you car.

Luckily fixed under warranty -

Anyone else used pendleperformance on a 2.0tdi...very tempted cos of the price. Also liking the sound of smooth power delivery rather than brutal.

As I had that done in my old Fiat and used to make my mrs pretty sick!
