Are they still making Mk1 Fabias?

Featured Replies

I have a Fabia Estate, and am definitely considering replacing it with another one.

Trouble is that, at 200K+ miles, I'm not sure mine will last until they start making the new model Estates.

Are they still manufacturing the old model estates?

I was nosing round a 2007 Fabia at the local dealers, and the guy said something like "we can just about still get estates".. but I wasn't sure if this was just his "we'd be doing you a favour so don't even consider asking for a discount" patter.

Edit: Just out of curiosity.. are they still making the old Fabias for other markets?

They will probably have some left over, they wont have sold all they have made, so hopefully you will still be able to get hold of one. But i wouldnt imagine they still make the old fabias, but i can always be wrong.

They are still making the old Fabia, but only in estate form, according to their website...

i thought they have stopped making the mk1 fabia all together now.

The new estate isn't out until next year and my local dealer said that they can get hold of mk1 estates until then, so.....

Here in Colombia they are importing the estate and sedan until mid 2008.

I'd guess that means that they are still producing them, albeit on a small scale.

A guy at Fish Brothers Skoda in swindon said that they would continue making the mk1. i spoke to him bout the qhole vauxhall corsa thing and he said that because the fabia mk1 is a really good car (unlike the old corsas) they WILL continue making them along side the mk2. then again he also told me my fabia comfort has an alarm...which it doesnt.

Production of the hatchback for UK markets has ceased. The estate, as has already been mentioned, will continue.
