Hi matey's, good old Soviet here. Turned out nice again yesterday (gorgeous weather)

Yesterday was a gorgeous day weather wise, as it absolutely hissed down in Swindon all day, making the place a bl**y site grimmer than normal. Why did I just say that the weather is gorgeous. Is it because I have finally flipped my lid?, and has 'er in doors got me to the edge of sanity at long last ? Nah.

What I did was to get out the brolly, get a bucket and sponge, with my best car shampoo, and went out and gave the Skoda a birthday treat, and with in twenty minutes I had washed the beauty, from top to bottom just prior to the heavens opening and swilling off the shampoo for me. One is able to wax it, post monsoon, i.e. when it stops, if it stops.

Easy, pea-see, you bet it is. if you are thick skinned like me, and can ignore or the twitching curtains of the neigbours down the road, I would recommend it.

i.e. Look dear, that man at number 9 is out with a gamp, washing the car, I told you that I always had my doubts about him, and now I know he is a bit batchy. Oh him, yes dear he needs locking up, shall I call the men with the white van and strait jackets to come and get him. What the hell is he going to do next? Scary or what?

If you really want some strange looks fellas try doing it in swimming trunks, and ladies in bikinis, or cross dress, and let it all hang out. Who gives a dam, after all they are only neighbours and know most of your business in any case.

Mind you the north easterly icy blast nearly froze ones gooleys off, other than that, champion!

Er in doors told me I was nuts, but Ive had worse, and have got the battle scars to prove it.

Can't take no more, just going to have a lie down and take an aspirin.

Is it going to stop raining?

It's still persisting down in Marlborough.......and I am so fed up being indoors I might have to go food shopping in Swindon soon (I know it's a silly idea but I have to do something)

Wouldn't chance it mate, ain't they got any grub shops in Malborough!
