I have "accidently" broken mine off, anyone know were to get one? Tried local scrap yards and dont really want pay stealers prices

Is it completey broken? I smacked mine with my knee once and it flew off. Thought it was smashed, put pushed it back on and it clicked into place. Works fine ever since.

Mk4 Golf item looks the same to me. There are a few on eBay but make sure you get one which has the heater logo in the centre position.

Its completely snapped off - I had my 10 month old son on my knee whilst waiting for SWMBO to finish shopping and he managed to snap the toggle off some how :confused:

mine snapped this morning after I found some **** had broken my wing mirror!

Being 6'3" I've managed to knock mine off with my knee 3 times!!! It just seems to click back on though.

Part seems to be the exact same one as the Golf Mk IV. I had two Golfs and I'm 99% certain it'd just fit straight on no problem.

If it does light up red instead of green it might actually look pretty neat and tone in with the red needles on speedo.....??

My switch has also completely snapped off. I thought I could push it back on but it's definitely broken. (don't ask how I did it ) Anyway, is this something I could replace myself or do I need a trusty mechanic to do it for me? Thanking all in advance for any replies.
