I'm loking to lower car by 30 mm alround and I don't need coil overs, as need it to be family car during week! I have spoken direct to spax, bilstien etc and all give either none listed or change ARBar or big intake of breath etc. Is there a decent kit adjustable or not that's a straight swop and no major car surgery?

Why are you ruling out coilovers just because it's a family car? I'd have thought something like H&R comfort line coilovers would be fine on a family car. If you want to go with springs and dampers then the like's of H&R and eibach do spring kits and you won't go far wrong with dampers from Koni.
