Binned the standard Orange Indicator bulbs...

Featured Replies

Got some bits over weekend, just to tidy it up a bit in my eyes...

Got some stealthy indicator bulbs, not Silvatecs, they are a Halfords bulb, a bluey-voilety-silvery-goldy thing, that flashes orange.

Got Trade discount on them too! So the set of 4 worked out about

Looks much better mate

The black magic luxo barge will be getting the same treatment front and back soon.

I put Philips Silver Vision on mine. all four. I see that now you have little blue effect when off. I have no effect as those Philips look perfectly white.

Looks familiar ;)

Looks much better djgritt.

I have the Philips Silvervisions in mine and I think it makes a big difference. Gets rid of the "fried egg" effect. It makes me wonder why manufacturers use the amber bulbs in the first place?

I've always used powerbulbs.co.uk for all my bulbs.

Silvervisions in mine from day 1. Much nicer than the orange ones.

Looks like the Dagenham Dustbin could do with a wash too.

 Thats the Missus's heap.

She kept my track car in that state for nearly 6 months when i let her use it as a daily, so got her the E-Scrot instead.

As for Bulbs, i just saw them in Halfords while looking for Silvatecs, found out the flashed orange, and that the Trade Discount Card i got through the VxON Club worked on them and bought them. Knocked

Kinda need a 'briskoda.net' Sticker for the rear windscreen though... ;)

Only

Phillips Silvervisions in mine from day one also. Much neater and discreet to have the indicator bulbs effectively 'disappear'.

Sorry but don't like the blue effect - going towards the MaxPower brigade IMHO.

I have recently put in the Silvervisions front and back - nice overall finish.

Not sure I'd have parked mine that close to an old Ford Escort :)
