Hi

I want to know if anyone else of the members in here have been affected by faults on the enegine on this type of car. As i said before the steeringsunit to the fuelpump was broken, and i have been without car for 2 weeks, and they still dont have the steeringsunit in the factory in Germany, and this part takes only 5 minutes to install they say, they also say because the production is so high in Europe they have big problem to got parts even to an ordinary service, i find this very very odd.

What is your views on this?, have someone else similar experience as me?

I think the part you mean has been somewhat confused in the translation.

Could you give us a little more information?

Many thanks for your replay VRstu

Even my dealer wasnt sure how to prononce this part in english, but i think its called controlunit to the fuelpump, and the number on this part is 1-T-0-906093E, maybe this is an common problem on this enegines because they dont have any parts on the factory?

It looks to me like it's 1K0 906 093E for the Octavia II. Control Unit for fuel delivery.

I wonder if they are ordering the wrong part number and hence the delay. The 1T chassis is a VW Touran.

Many thanks again VRStu, i would give my dealer this new number and try to avoid any confusion.

Keep us posted with how you get on.
