power steering

Featured Replies

i would like to fit a power steering to my 1995 felicia does the power assisted rack fit instead of the manual one .what steering rack i can use apart from felica ones:)

None apart from a Felicia one. You would need all the parts from a donor Felicia with the same engine. You would need..

Rack

Pump

Reservoir

Pipes

Pump bracketry

Aux belt and tensioner

Possibly the alternator

And fluid

Is it really worth all that work??

I dont have power steering on my felicia either... but its a small and light enough car for it not to matter. And as long as you dont try and steer on the spot it totally managable.

Not really, put another 4 psi in the tyres..lol

I'd have to agree; lots of work for no real gain, unless the PAS offers a much quicker rack, like Citroens used to (typically 2 or 2.5 turns less lock to lock).

a quick rack! now there's an idea. anyone ideas.
