Finally got around to doing this. Its usually kept clean but hadnt had time.

No befores sorry.

Wheels + arches

Blast with Aldi APC 10:1 to loosen dirt and brake dust

Miniature wheel brush and microfibre washmitt for the inners and washmit for the faces.

Washed with Simoniz car shampoo

Bodywork

---------

Quick wash with Simoniz shampoo + lambwool washmit

Hose to rinse

Meguiars Water Magnet to dry.

Wax

----

Tried some new stuff, Meguiars Gold Class paste wax. ($5 with free applicator!) So bargain really. Worked pretty well on the supplied pad primed with some Last Touch. Buffed off with large microfibre.

Wheels received the same wax and trims done with Endurance gel as were the tyres.

Some afters in no real order (have removed most swirls but a few still remain...)

A very fine job there..

Makes me wish I'd bought a red one instead of black..

Theres a couple of chips on there and a couple on the bonnet - shes only done 46k.

That's exactly what I thought when I saw it... and mine has done 8k less than that:(

And the wheels don't appear to have a single bit of damage... Lucky man

my vrs is also red and i agree it is easier to keep clean, and when just been waxed it is very RED!! which is great!

but mine is about 5 years younger and not looking in as good a nick as that one!
