I would like to know how could I see in VAG-COM when I should go to service with my car.

I don't know if service period is set to 30000 km. I changed oil at 15000 km and guy on service said that I should see indication. After he change the oil he reseted service reminder but now I have 30000 km and I didn't see service indication again.

So how could I check with VAG-COM? I have Octavia II.

You dont need vag-com to check when the next service is due.

Switch on the ignition but dont start the engine, then press and hold the trip reset button. The display should change to show you the mileage/kms to next service.

42 - min distance

43 - max distance

44 - max time

45 - oil quality

There are some more above running up to 49.

I'm also interested in doing this. However, I've tried the above suggestion, and all it does is reset my trip (BAH!)

By the way, I've got maxidot, so I don't know if that makes a difference or not. You'd've thought the Vehicle Status menu in maxidot would tell you.

Any ideas?
