Felicia Audio

Featured Replies

The cassette player in my Felicia no longer accepts tapes, hence only the radio works. I half fancy replacing with a cd/radio. Would the fitted speakers cope (don't fancy working with wires)?I don't go for the heavy bass, Beethoven/Beatles/Miles Davis being more my style, but I do play loudish on the motorway. Would I be better off getting a cheap r/c or trying to fiddle with a screwdriver?

Should be able to plug and play with a CD headunit just fine.

What type of speakers are installed? My favorit has Blaupunkt 6x4" 50w which were fitted as standard AFAIK.

Speakers should cope unless the amp is high powered.

what about carmina burana? that ones got to be played oober loud. he he he

Personally i didn't keep the speakers that were in my Felicia and added 6x9's on the back parcel shelf. My reasoning is that due to the low position of the front speakers it needed something to lift the sound.

I just doubled up the wires from the front speakers to the back and it works fine minus a bit of boot space!!

I always thought 6x9"'s on the rear parcel shelf were the easy way to get your rear screen broken by a **** and the speakers gone. Suppose it depends where you live and park. Not really sure where you could put them that is more conspicuous though. Suppose you could try make speaker grilles out of the plastic bits either side and then they'll be hidden underneath that.

Lol c h a v is a bad word.

Its straightforward to fit just a head unit to a Felicia / Favorit - both are the same. The front speakers can handle a lot too - my head unit sends up to 45W to the front, and they cope ok

whatever you do, make sure you take the removable face with you! my bro didnt and woodie got broken into on thursday there.popped the doorlock:mad: :(
