Can anyone help? I have just bought a 2001 Y 4x4 estate with 63000 miles. Under hard acceleration (foot to the floor) the turbo kicks in but instead of giving a steady surge of power it seems to pulse steadily on and off. A new air filter and air pressure sensor was fitted last week but this has made no difference. Any ideas?

Sounds like mine when I got it. Turned out to be the fuel pump.
