Apple Safari Browser for Windows

Featured Replies

There's a Beta for this web browser available from Chez Jobs. Apparently it's supposed to be faster than IE, Firefox, and Thrust SCC.

Apple - Safari 3 Public Beta

if it's as good as safari for Mac OSX it'll be.....still crap! :D :D

Downloading it now, might aswell give it a try at work.

It seems reasonably quick, but my 'quick links' has disappeared on here

Quite a few comments on The Register alleging that the supposed bugs were not disclosed.

So what is the best and fastest browser out there? Any good ones that don't need Sun Java?

I've only tried Safari for 20 minutes, but can't really see any advantage over Firefox TBH. I still think Firefox is the bee's knees.

I like it, because I can't use Firefox (sun java crashes some of my programs). But where has my quick links gone? :orb_upset

bizarre, can't find quick links anywhere, and search has changed places.

LOL, it's already becomming the most exploited browser around! 20 odd found in one day!

Em, the effective speed of a web browser is normally governed by the speed of your web connection.

It's far too buggy - i've tested it for the last couple of hours and so far -

1) no quick links in forums

2) no sound?!

3) MS java does not work

It is quick though. I'm going to run Firefox with the latest Java and see if I can get all my apps to load.

All i get is Safari encountered problems, needs to close. Send error to microsfoft on anything i change or do.

I found that it took three times as long as firefox to open up , then three times as long to display news.bbc.co.uk

Heap of tat IMO
