Just broke windscreen

Featured Replies

Just been changing my wipers over when the passenger side arm sprung back onto the screen with no blade on, was gutted my the noise it made and I knew straight away what had happend. Now have a 6 inch crack up the screen.

Not happy but have it being replaced on Wednesday as the car is in the dealer 2morrow. Now

OUCH !

It must be a serious springload or was dropped from full height from screen ,as have done that myself from about 1/2 height of blade from screen, with no after effect .

Maybe I was lucky.

My sympathies. I "did" mine by trying to carry home a too long piece of wood.

"Gently" let go of the rear hatch and it punted 2.7M of window sill into the windscreen and cracked it.

A friend of mine did exactly the same thing to a new BMW. (he works for them & no it wasnt his)

You would think that for something that costs

done it at work a few times , only broke one screen though

Done exactly the same thing...... a few choice words and

you will be surprised the amount of pitting on a windscreen.

your not kidding , mine is absolutely battered , and is a total pain when driving into the sun :(

Not happy but have it being replaced on Wednesday as the car is in the dealer 2morrow. Now
