anyone tried autoglym ultra deep shine?

It does what it says on the TIN:thumbup:

Mines a black Furby VRS which is a bitch to polish and wax, and it does a fair job.

I use Clearkote Yellow Moose Wax which is perfect for Black costs about

Not a big fan of the Autoglym stuff I've used in the past, but can highly recommend the Meguiars quick detailing kit Halfords sell (which includes a 4oz sample of wax/polish).... Not too expensive, and very quick and easy to put on the car :D

Chris

I found it very difficult to remove when I got it, still have most of the bottle left as I never went back to it!

I'm open to trying anything on my Silver vRS to make it shine more. Silver just will not shine when buffed, period.

I liked it on my black Fabia, but its not as good on my white Passat. It is a very hard product to work with (so stubborn) but on a black car I totally recommend it - the results were stunning!

Silver is fine you just got to get the right products

That

Autoglym is good.. this is just resin polish & Extra Gloss Protec

good stuff but its like the extra gloss protection - need to make sure you leave it on until really dry before polishing otherwise its hard work.

I tend to apply it to all the panels in one go.

but results are good no shure how much diference between super resin.

but I detect a deeper shine.

will go over it a couple of times to get a good gloss will bung a pic or two up when finished.

great stuff, polish with autoglym super resin first then apply deep gloss shine, the people who say it is a bitch to get off should try it again but leave it to dry properly as it is a doddle to buff off once it is dry.

I've used AG Ultra Deep Shine on many occasions. Fantastic stuff, needs more than one coat to fill the marks though. Cvoer the whole car with it and then wipe off with a microfibre. Here's two cars I've used Ultra Deep Shine on for one of the steps:

If your going to use it, make sure you washt eh car well, use a clay bar, then a suitable paint cleaner from Zymol or Meguiars. Then put two coats of Ultra Deep Shine over the car and seal it all in with AG Extra Gloss Protection. Make sure you only use small amounts, it goes a long way :)

Irf,

Wow thats a very deep shine you have, I know how good/bad black can be used to have an Audi in anthracite metalic used to be mirror like if you spent some time on it.

as for the AG ultra I must be trying to take it off to quick, how long do you leave it on ?

As for the Furby I am just trying to get it to a good condition, as its had 5 years of paint abuse. Loads of swirls and ARRGH its been through a car wash by previous owners.

Not going too mad on it using Frecla G10 watered down to get rid of any oxydisation and take down the swirls, for real bad spots a bit of G3.

then the polish a couple of times. thats it but the results are good the red is Very RED compaired to a panel thats not done.

last night it rained the pannels that had been done beaded up brilliantly.
