Hi

I have an 1.2HTP 2003 Fabia and a problem with the rear window wiper. Sometimes it operates on it's own when engine is started. It stops after about 20 minutes and starts over again on irregular intervals. Switching the wiper shank doesn't change anything..totally out of control .Any idea what can I check before going to the dealer.

well if the wiper is working then the motor should be okay which would suggest its something to do with the on/off stalk. i would just take it to a dealer myself.

It could be a prking switch (this is in the motor) problem. My guess is that it will need a new motor.
