Auto opening windows?

Featured Replies

VERY hot afternoon (briefly) in Fife today and I shifted the car at work. Not sure what I pressed, but all four windows were open slightly after unlocking the car. Damned if I can find an explanation in the handbook, no doubt I'm missing something incredibly simple again (apologies in advance) but how did this happen?

If you hold the key fob in the open position for a little while all 4 window open until I think you release the button. Similarly on locking the car holding the lock button down I believe automatically closes all opened windows.

That is indeed the case.

and damn useful too on a hot day. Open all windows before you reach the car, just to get a bit of a breeze though.

There's a lot of stuff (features) that these cars have that just isn't mentioned in the brouchure. I'm pretty sure other manufacturers (say BMW, Volvo or Mercedes) would be trumpeting such stuff in their sales literature. I think Skoda seriously undersells itself and recent marketing (tv ads) leave a lot to be desired IMHO.

Come on Skoda, you're better than you let on!
