Yeah, WHATEVER! :D - I still got just under a month to go yet! :D The way its going I can see myself arriving at Jabba on the 23rd with a box full of suspension and brake pads, maybe a spoiler (alex?) and paying them to do all my dirty work.

im gonna have the only standard car there!... lol

and im not gonna go to any lengths to save weight like some certian SDi owner who is worried about the competition

:D

Option 2 I voted for and fitted to my Fabia tdi (on the fronts anyway) they didn't half make a difference, but be warned they are noisy when hot!

change the fluid as well as I used to get fade from the standard fluid ;)

I think I'm going the route of diamond discs on the front and ferrodo ds2500 all round

It was actually me remembering you talking about DS2500s that swung the decision. Good to see you back on again - been away for a while? Going to the National?

A BIG  to Demon Tweeks. Just ordered the pads and will be with me by end of next week... :D

Now the only question is fitting them - With the saving I may get the dealer to do it for me! :D

Col,

Julies Octavia will be standard too.

Finally got the DS2500's today :D

Won't get time to fit them on saturday (Jabba meet :) ) but if the weather holds i'll be getting my hands dirty on sunday :D

Discs / Pads / Fluid were changed today. Only done about 30 miles so far, so can't really comment, apart from saying that they still need to bed in... :)

It may be but its the fluid upgrade (and more importantly) the proper bleeding that worries me. :(

And If Mr Carring is watching this... Can you post the link to that super duper bleeding assist tool (please)... I can't find the link. :D
