Featured Replies

Both look fantastic gents - well done! Wonder if i'll get mine to look that good!

Love them rims...........Will they fit my fab??

Simon

Car looks well smart, especially in the flesh (you were next to my yellow/black Octy on the Sunday at GTI inters. Should have been in the show and shine. Regarding your water beading, get some rainex or similar product on the glass and that will bead water just like your paint work. Looks excellent on tinted glass like yours and mine!

See you at another show hopefully soon...

It's a pity we can't all get together for a "Superb" meet somewhere

I think it's fair to say that your motor should have been in the 'Show n Shine' as well mate....very clean and some nice mods I might add!!

I entered the 'Show n Shine' after the allocated deadline and didn't get in so that was a bit of a bummer!! Oh well....maybe next year!!

Thanks for your comments mate and maybe I will see you at another show.

Not too sure about the 'best looking car on BRISKODA' but I do appreciate your comment mate.

But if you had entered the show and shine and been accepted then you would of won by default as there was no competition which is crap cos you don't feel you've acheived anything,i entered the show and shine at elsecar earlier in the year and won as i was the only entry,i got a nice trophy but i don't feel proud of it but on the other hand i do feel your car could win it even if others had entered as your cars always spotless:thumbup:

Yeah I hear what your saying mate......just a shame that I didn't get in and also that there weren't any other Skoda's in the running so to speak.

It would have been interesting to see if your comments could have been proved correct mate!!

Hey Baker21. Mint car mate, so so sweet. Love the wheels suit the car down to the ground, the lip on them looks amazing! i have some very similar ones on my Fabia vRS (only 17inch tho!) and quite so much lip i dont think looking at yours.

How big are your wheels, 19s? Have u ever thought of colour coding the bumper and side strips, i think that would make the car look EVEN better

Sometimes lookin at Bakers Superb makes me want to chop in the octy, it is a fine example of tasteful modding without a doubt.

Thanks for your comments mate, appreciate it.

I rarely get out of the 'Superb' forum so can you link me to some pics of your motor then? Would be interested to have a look?

My wheels are 19" ASA AR1s 235/45/19 all round with the front being 8.5J and the rears 9.5J so the rears have the stretched tyre look.

As for the suggestion on the bumper strips, I have thought long and hard about this and I would rather spend the money on smoothing the bumpers instead to achieve a look as follows:

But I need to see if I am going to keep the car as it could be a waste of money....I am tempted to buy something else at the moment but we will see.......

Thanks mate.......chop it in......you know you want too....LOL!!!

Thats look very nice with the smoothed bumpers etc, do it! I will be putting pics up of my car when i get it back next week, i'll pm a link when i do.

Bet those wheels werent as cheap as mine tho! hehe. Yours are the nicest wheels i have seen on a VAG car. I was looking for some 18s similar to yours, with the backs being bit wider, but in the end i picked up a set of second hand mint polished lip 17s, then set had them resprayed similar to yours. My uni budget could just manage that!

Beautiful car anyway mate, nice smooth gentle modding is the way forward!
