New Fabia instead of Polo!

Featured Replies

Hi

I'm a new poster to this great site - very informative. I thought you might be interested in the reasons for my change to Fabia from Polo.

I have bought 6 new polos for my wife over the last 15 years and went to order a new one for September. Our last one was a Twist 1.2, 64 BHP, ordered with multifuction computer and 6 disc CD changer and has been fine (with the glaring exception of the lack of a boot light!).

VW, in their wisdom, no longer offer a factory fit for either m/f computer or CD autochanger for the equivalent 'S' model. Would have to have paid over

Hello and welcome.

sounds like you got a good deal!

Welcome :wavey:

The drive should be similar as the chassis in the Fabia & Polo are the same.

nice... can you post some pics when you get it? a review in the new fabia section would be good too... there arn't many informed opinions on the new fabia yet as they're so new..... and the price of that SE polo?! you could have got an old fabia vRS for that!!

If its a Fabia2 which I suspect it is they are different now.

Been looking at Polos for the missus myself. I can get some great deals on a new one and the residuals are pretty strong. May treat her next year. I know they have dumped the autochanger but isnt that because they now have the MP3 player in as std so there isnt much need for one.
